Launching the ZDHC ZDHC Signatory Academia Programme

This new programme will welcome recognised higher education institutions into the wider ZDHC Signatory Community through a dedicated pathway for academic collaboration. It aims to integrate sustainable chemical management into education, develop industry-ready talent, support applied research and translate academic knowledge into practical solutions for more sustainable manufacturing.
Academic Signatories will be able to collaborate with ZDHC through activities such as curriculum development, guest lectures, knowledge exchange, student projects, applied research, innovation initiatives and academic-industry events. Each collaboration will be tailored to the institution’s expertise, capacity and areas of mutual interest.
To publicly launch the programme, ZDHC will host an online webinar during the third week of October 2026. The session will introduce the programme’s vision, explain who can participate and present the different ways in which academic institutions can engage with ZDHC. Invited universities will also have an opportunity to contribute to the discussion and share their perspectives.
Higher education institutions, academic networks, researchers, educators, students and interested industry stakeholders are warmly invited to attend.
